The place
The character of Panama City Beach
Panama City Beach is the Panhandle at full volume: twenty-seven miles of white sand, the jetties and kid-safe lagoon of St. Andrews State Park, and Shell Island sitting undeveloped just across the pass. It draws the region's biggest crowds from spring through fall, then hands the winter to snowbirds.
The rental market splits cleanly. The condo corridor books deep on Gulf-front balconies and walkable everything, while the west end around Laguna Beach keeps a low-rise, cottage-scale character most visitors never find. Between the two, the booking season runs longer here than almost anywhere else in the region.
